Looking after a loved one can be difficult especially if they do not have the capacity to manage their affairs.  You may need to access funds to be able to pay for the care of a loved one or even sell their property to do so.  In the absence of a Power of Attorney, there is very little you can do to help and you may have to apply to the Court of Protection for a Deputyship Order.  This process can be complex and time consuming.

At SLJ Solicitors we are here to guide you through the process and advise you on all the options available to you.  From, obtaining the medical report required to start the application and submitting the application to receiving the order and helping you with the ongoing management of the loved ones affairs,we are here to help.
