Sam is the Director of SLJ Solicitors. Sam qualified as a solicitor in 2007 (SRA No 373101) and specialises in all areas of Private Client Law which includes Wills, Power of Attorneys, Trusts, administration of estate, tax planning and care for the elderly.
Having worked in private practice for over 17 years, Sam set up
SLJ Solicitors to enable her to continue providing the best level of service to the public whilst being regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority.
Sam deals with both complex matters and those that are less complicated. She also advises in contentious estate and disputed Wills.
Sam is a full and accredited member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners
and an accredited member of the Association of Lifetime Lawyers (formerly known as Solicitors for the Elderly).
Sam is highly experienced in acting for clients in a calm and friendly way especially when the matter in hand may be sensitive or if clients are going through a difficult time. She will keep you updated throughout the matter and will happily visit you at home or arrange meetings by Zoom or Teams.
Sam also specialises in care for the elderly and setting up powers of attorney for those who need help making decisions regarding their finances and health. For those who do not have the capacity to make a power of attorney, Sam will assist in applying for a Deputyship Order through the Court of Protection.

Maddison is a dedicated Legal Assistant within SLJ Solicitors; driven by a strong commitment to making a positive impact in her local community. Holding a first-class honours degree in Law and Criminology since 2021, Maddison has acquired a solid foundation of knowledge and skills.
During her studies, Maddison participated in the Open Justice Programme, offering public legal education to incarcerated individuals. This experience has deepened her passion for advocating justice and accessible legal guidance to
anyone who seeks it.
Maddison brings forward this expertise and empathy to support private clients in navigating the complexities of Wills and Probate matters. With a deep understanding of how each client comes with unique circumstances, Maddison is dedicated to providing compassionate guidance and ensuring peace of mind as she continues
to empower clients on their legal journey.
